The Creative Writing Group, like most of the others, meets monthly, in this case, at Southmead. Their expert tutor, Hazel Brown, proposes subjects for their writing- an episode in someone's life, a princess escaping from a palace, a landscape…. Then the members bring their two or three pages of hand writing to the next meeting. Imagine with what pride and/or trepidation they each read out their story for discussion, and hopefully praise, from tutor and peers. An anthology has been produced packed with samples of the groups creations.
