The Play Reading group started in January 2006 and now meets approximately every six weeks in members' houses. Having started with short comedies, we then moved on to a variety of longer plays in different styles.

Our choice of plays is somewhat restricted by the fact that we only have three male stalwarts at present. A few more men would greatly improve the variety of plays we could attempt.

We have a great deal of fun and would welcome more aspiring thespians to the casting couch!

We put on a play reading production of "Haywire", for U3A members only, in March, which was a remarkable success.
