This group was formed by U3A members merging with a previously existing group in Moretonhampstead. The members at present are a group of nine who meet on a monthly basis in each others' homes. A lively discussion takes place over a glass of wine and the next book is distributed. The books are chosen collectively from a wide range of authors and topics. Recently discussed books include Hilary Mantel, A Change of Climate; William Dalrymple, White Mughals; Ian Rankin, The Falls and Anne Tyler, The Amateur Marriage. We had interesting evenings with Helen Dunmore and Hilary Mantel at Exeter Library earlier in the year.
